Installed Application Data (Core Launcher Function)
To function as a Launcher, the app must access the list of applications installed on your device.
Data Collected: Package names, app icons, and app labels of installed applications.
Purpose: To display your apps on the home screen and app drawer, facilitate app search, and allow you to launch apps.
Storage: This data is processed locally on your device to organize your user interface.
User-Generated Content (Private Rooms)
To facilitate real-time collaboration, we collect and store the data you voluntarily create within your private rooms:
Shared Notes & Whiteboard: Text, drawings, and images added to shared canvases.

Sound Interactions: Sound Trigger Interactions are stored in the realtime db to make this operation.
Voice and Video Communication (WebRTC)
To enable real-time voice and video communication between members of a private room, the Service uses WebRTC technology.
Connection Setup (Signaling):
Call setup information (such as session descriptions and connection metadata) is exchanged through our servers using Google Firebase Realtime Database. This signaling data is used only to establish peer-to-peer communication between members of the same private room and is accessible only to the participants of that room.
Media Transmission:
Audio and video streams are transmitted directly between participants using WebRTC peer-to-peer connections whenever possible. We do not store or record voice or video call content on our servers.
Network Infrastructure:
To establish and maintain connections across different networks, the Service uses publicly available STUN servers provided by Google and TURN relay servers provided by Metered.ca. These services may process connection metadata such as IP addresses solely for the purpose of enabling the real-time communication session.
Data Storage:
Signaling data used to establish calls is temporary and is not retained after the call session ends.
Privacy Scope:
Voice and video communication features are available only within invite-only private rooms, and call participation is limited to members of the specific room.
Android Permissions
We request specific device permissions to ensure the app functions as intended:
REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES: Used to allow you to uninstall applications directly from the FOMO Launcher home screen or app drawer.
FLASHLIGHT: Used solely to provide a quick-access shortcut to toggle the device flashlight from the home screen.
VIBRATE: Used to provide haptic feedback when you interact with UI elements (e.g., long-pressing icons).
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE & INTERNET: Required to detect internet connectivity and synchronize your private room data (notes, whiteboard, calendar) with our servers.
